iPhone 5 dock

As Apple decided to once again change the connector, I was faced with a decision – buy another ugly dock or build one myself. Given that I had pine lying around, I decided to build one.

I found a piece of pine with a nice knot and cut around it. I then drilled a hole in the center to accomodate the lightning cable. I drilled the hole at a 10 degree angle. I then routed a ‘u’ for the cable underneath and stapled it (to keep it from moving). Voila!
